LCBMC is a student friendly private college striving for providing quality education and supportive environment to its learners. Besides providing learned teaching staff, it values students’ interests and aspirations, and best endeavours to provide possible supports to achieve those. In brief, the college, with its statement of educational purpose, ‘‘Promoting quality education to open doors for our valued students’, has a clear focus and direction to work on. For prompting quality education, we only select those Ofqual recognised courses that are strongly linked to learners’ skill building and career enhancement. At the same time, we recruit suitably qualified teachers to ensure befitting delivery of the courses and measure learners’ progress through KPI’s, e.g. discussion, oral examination, presentation, mock examination, and/or coursework. The college recognises that not all learners have the same calibre and their academic performance may vary under certain circumstances. That is why we have a provision for personal tutoring, extra classes, and additional supports, e.g. free English Language Classes to ensure especially when it deems necessary. We do support our learners with a befitting library equipped with required resources, computer lab with Internet connection and recreational facilities e.g. refreshment and games so that they do not feel monotonous. Notably, the college recognises applicants’ prior learning through APL and discuss individually with learners to formulate ILP in order to ensure best-possible learning outcomes and measure the improvement against KPI’s. In brief, our missions and visions are as follows.
